The wine trail, an acquired seduction
DAY 04: SANTA CRUZ
After breakfast at the hotel you will visit two important vineyards in which you will enjoy great flavorful wine.
 
According to availability you may visit any of these vineyards: Viu Manent, Santa Laura, Mont Gras or Bisquertt. Here you will learn about the production of wine, taste different musts of grapes, enjoy the cuisine, shop for crafts, and get to know a little more about the rural traditions of the region
 
After lunch at local restaurant you will visit the Museum of Colchagua (closed on Monday), with an important collection of pre-Hispanic art.
 
The Colchagua Museum belongs to the Cardoen Foundation, a non-profit cultural organization that is the business and industrial initiative of Carlos Cardoen Cornejo. The museum's collection is organized into 11 sections: Palaeontology - Paleo-Indian Chile - Pre-Columbian Art - Conquest and Colony - Liturgical Art - Independence - Republic and Pacific War - Folklore, outfit and gear of the "huasos" (cowboys) and carriages - Agricultural and Vineyard Machinery - Water equipment - Exterior Paleo-Indian Lithic.
