The wine trail, an acquired seduction
DAY 06 MENDOZA:
After Buffet Breakfast at Hotel go for a Full Day Wine Experience.
 
Enjoy the pleasure of visiting one of the best oenological areas in Argentina.
 
Early in the morning you will meet the oenologist who will accompany us throughout the tour. You will depart to Mendoza’s agricultural oasis and visit two wineries, of wine’s circuit; there you will enjoy a wine tasting session.
 
At noon you will have lunch, during which we will begin to familiarize ourselves with the local wines, and its elaboration process.
 
After that you will participate in an introductory lecture, in which our oenologist will explain us the technique of wine tasting, wine production techniques, the importance of the cork in the bottle and the correct way to handle a glass in order to taste wine.
 
In the evening you will visit other winery and enjoy a wine tasting session.
 
In the evening, you will return to the Hotel.
 
Enjoy fine dinning, in the well known “1884 Restaurant” owned by the famous chef Francis Mallman.
 
The peripatetic chef’s signature establishment is still the eponymous Francis Mallmann 1884. A destination diner’s dream-come-true, it’s located in the historic Bodega Escorihuela winery in Mendoza, Argentina, in the heart of the country’s thrilling wine region.
 
Last year, 1884 rated seventh among the world’s most desirable restaurants in a London Times list, and it’s easy to see why.
 
The dining room is a study in restrained elegance, with its spacious ambience, cool marble floors, earth-toned walls, and high-backed chairs.
 
The place attracts the local gourmets, but frequently plays host to an international crowd of wine glitterati.
